Lucas Sithole
Lucas Sithole, who, after a train accident at the age of 12 left him a triple amputee, has gone to represent South Africa in Basketball, Rugby, and Tennis. He is the first African to win a US Open Singles Grand Slam Title (Tennis), secured a Bronze at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games (Tennis - Doubles), and has received The Order of Ikhamanga in Silver for his incredible resilience.“He pushes past his limitations to achieve the seemingly impossible and has made history in the process.”
